Solve:

2(2x-1)-4<3(x-2)+2(x+2)

Solution

We can write this inequality as:

4x-2-4<3x-6+2x+4

4x-6<5x-2

-x<4

We divide both sides by the negative number -1 and thus the 'less than' sign becomes a 'greater than' sign:

x>-4
