Solution assignment 01 Trigonometric equations

Solve:

$\sin(x)=0$

$\sin(x)=1$

For the first equation we have:

$x=k\pi, k=0, \pm1, \pm2, ...$

and for the second equation:

$x=\displaystyle\frac{\pi}{2}+2k\pi, k=0, \pm1, \pm2, ...$

In the latter case we can see the unit circle shows that the $\sin$ -function takes the value $1$ only once per period.
