Solve:

$-x^2+5x-6=0$

We can write this equation as:

$x^2-5x+6=0$

which can be solved easily by factorization:

$x^2-5x+6=(x-3(x-2)=0$

and thus the solutions are:

$x_1=3$ or $x_2=2$

We could also have applied the $abc$ -formula:

$x_{1,2}=\displaystyle\frac{-5\pm\sqrt{5^2-4.-1.-6}}{2.-1}=\displaystyle\frac{-5\pm1}{-2}$

and thus we get the same solutions.
